HP 4200 Broken Fuser Unit Latch Clip

The HR department's print device was plagued with a lot of paper jams this morning and a loud grinding noise was coming from the device.

I noticed that the paper went pass the toner cartridge but never quite made it through the fuser assembly.
On close inspection it was revealed that the fuser unit had a blue locking clip on the right side near the gears that was broken.

More research led me to find out that this was a prevalent problem with HP 4200 series although I can neither disprove or prove this, because this is the first time I have encountered the problem.

My assumption was that maybe someone pull a little bit too much on some paper that may have been stuck inside of the unit, of course the people using the printer were reluctant to agree with my theory.

I have contacted my procurement team and I am currently awaiting the replacement fuser unit as the clip isn't sold locally. For anyone interested a source for the clips can be found here http://www.printerworks.com/Catalogs/4243-Catalog/LVR-4200-Fuser-clip.html
